After you start a project, Cliphi loads your video, watches it, and finds the best clips. On a long video this takes a few minutes. Here is what is normal, so you know when to wait and when something is actually wrong.

What's normal

  • The status changes as it goes. You will see it move through loading your video, watching it, and finding the best clips.
  • Clips show up one at a time as they are found, so you do not have to wait for all of them.
  • You can leave and come back. Your project keeps working while you are away, and your clips will be waiting when you return.

If it feels stuck

A long video simply takes longer, most of the wait is Cliphi getting through the whole thing. The "finding the best clips" step does not show a percentage, so it can look frozen even when it is working away. Give it a few minutes before you worry.

If you want to stop

Tap the X next to the progress to stop. Any clips it already found stay, so you will not lose those.

Still not working?

If it stops with an error, it is often about credits. Check your balance on the Usage page and top up if you are low. See How credits work.
