# My framing or captions look off

If a clip's framing or captions do not look right, here is the quick fix for each.

Cliphi sets up the framing and captions for you, but now and then a clip needs a
little help. Whatever looks off, there is a quick fix.

## The person is not centered

If the framing has landed on the wrong spot, like an empty chair or the edge of
the shot, set the framing yourself with the **Crop** control. See
[Fix a clip's framing](/help/fix-the-framing).

## The captions look wrong

If the captions are too big, too plain, or in the wrong spot, you can change the
look and move them. See [Change your caption style](/help/add-captions-to-a-clip).

## Text is getting covered up

If your captions or text sit where an app puts its like and share buttons, they
can get hidden once you post. Turn on **Safe zones** to see where those land, then
nudge your text clear. See [Keep text inside the safe zones](/help/safe-zones).

## Still not right?

Every control that changes how a clip looks is explained in
[The quick edit rail](/help/quick-edit-rail).
